Lonely Boat

Today was the end of another boating season. It was a good one in that the motor worked really well, and we got to have some friends down. It was also short as I was in India for part of July, August and September. 2 weeks ago today we were up in Barry watching Ben play rugby. Since the following Thursday, Ben has been in the hospital with a ruptured appendix. Today Tim and Fleur visited him, and he ate some solid food for the first time in more than a week. He seems to be getting better, but much more slowly than he would like.

The weekend of September 29th and 30th Grant and I took my father and another friend from church canoing. Bovas had never been camping, so we were glad of the good weather, and really tried to make it go well. This is at the one small portage that we went over at the start of the trip.
