Went down to the boat last night. It was a very nice evening. Beamer was getting off and didn't realize that he was still tied to the boat. He fell in to the water, went right under and scrambled out while I held his arms. Dianne also had a near death experience ... from laughing.

Al and our kids and I had our 9th annual Father's day camping outing. We had a good turnout with 11 total in 4 tents on 2 campsites. The kids went wake-boarding, biscuiting and canoing. Al and I went for a few runs in his tinny as well. It is very nice that the kids want to come even though they are full grown!

We had another really busy weekend. Friday night we had a wonderful meal at Bovas and Annamma's. Saturday morning I bicycled down to the bus for 7:30 am and went to get the car. I drove the car back to Waterloo, and over to Brian Gamble's for him to look it over as an enthusiast. On the way home from getting my bike I ran in to John Robinson on the Iron Horse Trail. Saturday night Beamer, Dianne, Joel and I rode to DQ. Sunday morning Dianne sang in church. Sunday afternoon Dianne and Beamer and I went to the boat. We went out for a bit, but I also took some pictures from shore at dusk.

Friday night Dianne and I biked with Beamer to the DQ, for our official opening salute to summer. Saturday, Dianne and I arranged to buy this car that we found on Craigslist. Hopefully Ben will fix it up for me as a way of encouraging his interest in his automotive engineering program in the fall. Sunday, I played my guitar with the combo in church. I had a fantastic time. Sunday afternoon we went down to 50 point. Sunday night Beamer got sprayed by a skunk.
